WOBA Board Readiness Programme

The WOBA Board Readiness Programme is a practical, intensive course designed for women who are ready to advance into Management or Supervisory Board positions. The programme is delivered by experienced C-level executives, board members, and renowned experts, combining strategic content, real-world insights, and targeted coaching.
Participants can join one of two groups, based on their preferences: one beginning in Skopje, with sessions held at the M6 Educational Centre, and the other in Belgrade. Both follow the same 5-day programme format, combining in-person and online sessions.
Format: 5 core learning days, 2 days of in-person training and 3 days of online modules
Delivery:
– Group starting in Skopje → begins 27 October 2025
– Group starting in Belgrade → begins 1 December 2025

Who is the WOBA Board Readiness Programme for?
This programme is designed for mid-level and senior women leaders with at least 5–7 years of experience, including three years in a management role.
It is ideal for those preparing for their first board or C-level position, as well as for current executives seeking to strengthen their governance and leadership skills.

Programme Format
The programme consists of five core learning days, delivered through a combination of in-person and online modules, with an additional optional session. The format includes interactive lectures, real-world case studies, peer coaching, and expert feedback

Sanela Pašić is a university professor and banking executive with 26 years of experience. She spent 20 years in board positions at international banking groups. Following a career of serving on Management boards, she currently serves on Supervisory Boards in four countries. Her work is focused on strategy development, finance, risk management, restructuring and change management.
Jovanka Joleska Popovska

Jovanka Joleska Popovska is serving as the Chairman-Supervisory Board at ProCredit Bank Macedonia AD.
She is also the Director at ProCredit SA and a Member-Supervisory Board at ProCredit Bank JSC (Georgia), ProCredit Holding AG, ProCredit Bank SA, ProCredit General Partner AG, and C.B. ProCredit Bank SA. In her former positions, Ms. Popovska worked as a Member-Management Board at ProCredit Bank AD.
Maida Salom

Maida Salom has over 19 years of experience in banking and insurance, with a current focus on AI and GenAI’s impact on business model innovation. She is the co-founder and former CEO of Zing.ba and previously served on corporate boards. Her areas of focus include business development, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence. She holds an MBA from IEDC and executive education certifications from IMD, MIT, and Harvard.

Ognen Janeski is a TV personality, international master of ceremonies, author, and TEDx speaker with over 25 years of experience in media, public speaking, and civil society. He has moderated high-level international events, anchored historic broadcasts, and trained professionals in strategic communication, journalism, and individual branding across the Western Balkans and beyond.
Katarina Đulić
Professor at FEFA, Metropolitan University in Serbia
Katarina Đulić is a governance expert and university professor with a background in consulting, corporate governance, and fiscal reform. She has worked on public financial management and policy development for international institutions and national governments. Her expertise includes designing and implementing governance frameworks, institutional reform strategies, and regulatory policies to strengthen transparency and accountability in public and private sectors.

Tanja Mihajlovska Dimitrievska is a senior leader with over 20 years of international banking experience, specialising in audit and corporate governance. She has built and led audit teams across Corporate, Personal, Business, and Wealth Banking, as well as Third Party Risk, Change Management, and Behavioural Risk. Tanja has conducted complex fraud investigations and established the first Cultural Risk Audit team in London’s banking sector.

Aleksandra (Sasha) Njagulj is a globally recognised expert in sustainable investment and ESG strategy, with over 20 years of experience advancing sustainability practices across industries. Sasha’s career includes senior roles in leading international corporations, where she has developed and implemented award-winning ESG programmes recognised for their innovation and impact. She has received multiple awards for her dedication to responsible investing and sustainable development.
Mia Popić
PhD in Women leadership, business psychologist, psychotherapist and executive coach
Mia Popić is a business psychologist, psychotherapist, and leadership coach. She works with executives, entrepreneurs, and teams combining scientific research with real-world business insights to empower female leaders and drive meaningful change. Mia holds a PhD in Women’s Leadership and leads accredited programmes in coaching psychology, cognitive behavioural coaching, and agile leadership. Passionate about women’s empowerment, resilience, and authentic communication, Mia helps leaders navigate complexity with confidence, clarity, and purpose.
